What Are Scleral Lenses?
Scleral lenses are large-diameter, gas-permeable contact lenses designed to vault over the entire cornea and rest on the white part of the eye, called the sclera. Unlike standard lenses, they create a smooth, optically clear surface over irregular or damaged corneas.
The space between the lens and your eye holds a fluid reservoir, which hydrates and protects the cornea throughout the day. This makes scleral lenses especially effective for patients with keratoconus, corneal scarring, post-surgical eyes, or severe dry eye.

This wavefront-guided technology measures higher-order aberrations (HOAs)—tiny distortions in vision that standard lenses can’t correct. With this data, we design lenses that improve image quality, contrast, and night clarity.
EyePrintPRO® Prosthetics
For the most complex or irregular eyes, we offer EyePrintPRO®, a custom prosthetic lens molded from a direct impression of your eye’s surface (similar to a dental mold). This provides micron-level accuracy for cases where traditional mapping falls short.
