Dr. Hetel Bhakta
Dr. Hetel Bhakta specializes in the treatment of keratoconus and other complex corneal conditions, with a primary focus on scleral lens fittings. She is known for helping patients achieve clearer, more comfortable vision using customized solutions when standard lenses fall short.
Dr. Bhakta earned her Optometry degree at Manchester University in the United Kingdom in 2002, where she began building her foundation in clinical eye care.
After relocating to the U.S., she completed a program for international optometrists and earned her Doctorate in Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston in 2008.
She completed a residency in ocular disease accredited by NOVA Southeastern University, gaining advanced training in the diagnosis and management of glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, etc.

Dr. Bhakta has extensive experience in medical optometry and continues to provide comprehensive treatment and disease management for routine and complex eye health needs. In addition to her clinical work, she has served as a Faculty Clinic Instructor at the Optometry School at NOVA Southeastern University. Currently, she sits on the board of the Palm Beach County Optometric Association.
